The six-part series, titled Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story, promises to take a "definitive look at one of the most talked-about, controversial events of the last decade” while highlighting the rise of the Black Lives Matter movement.
The project is based on the book Rest in Power: The Enduring Life of Trayvon Martin by Trayvon's parents, Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin. Jay-Z executive produced the series. (EW)
