- Meek should have known this wasn't gonna fly.
- It's just too soon.
- Is it me or does Meek seem more concerned with getting the heat off of him than truly making it clear he feels remorse?
- The question is, did she accept his apology?

Vanessa Bryant heard Meek Mill’s reference to her late husband’s, Kobe Bryant, helicopter crash, and says it sounds like disrespect to her.
In his collab with Lil Baby, Meek raps, “If I ever lack, I’m going out with my chopper, it be another Kobe.” That’s when Bryant’s widow responded with a post on her Instagram Stories, saying, “I find this line to be extremely insensitive and disrespectful. Period. I am not familiar with any of your music but I believe you can do better than this. If you are a fan, fine, but there’s a better to show your admiration for my husband. This lacks respect and tact.”
Meek says he tried to set the record straight, adding, “I apologized to her in private earlier today not to the public… Nothing I say on my page directed to an internet viral moment or the family of a grieving woman! If you care about someone grieving change the subject!"
