Authorities announced Sunday that a body "consistent with the description of" Gabby Petito, the 22-year-old woman who disappeared while on a cross-country road trip with her boyfriend, was found in Wyoming's Bridger-Teton National Forest.
The announcement was made Sunday evening by the National Park Service, the FBI in Denver and other law enforcement.
Petito was reported missing by her parents on September 11th after they had no contact with her for two weeks.
Her boyfriend, 23-year-old Brian Laundrie, was called a "person of interest" after he came home from the trip more than two weeks ago without his girlfriend. He declined to speak to police and now he too has disappeared, according to officials. (ABC News)
