A hit dog will holler.

I will be curious to hear how lawyers defend R. Kelly but I doubt it will change many minds.

R. Kelly and Harvey Weinstein deserve to be prison cellmates.

After five weeks of testimony from 45 witnesses, prosecutors in the R. Kelly sex trafficking trial will concluded the case on Monday.

Last week, they entered into evidence several hand-written letters by his accusers. The women wrote, over the years, how they did not have illegal sex with R. Kelly.

Federal agents discovered the letters in a locked safe inside R. Kelly’s personal storage facility. He saved them, prosecutors claimed, like “Get Out of Jail Free” cards. The lawyers argued that these letters prove R. Kelly understood that his sexual activity was criminal in nature.

His victims testified in court how they were coerced into sex and then pressured to deny in writing that it never happened. One of them wrote on seven pages all the specific sex acts she supposedly did not have with R. Kelly. She even stated, (quote) “At the age of 17, I never had sex with Robert Kelly.” (New York Times)
