Chrissy Teigen and John Legend rolled up to the 62nd Grammy Awards last night looking as chic as ever. Not only was Teigen's bright orange, butterfly-esque gown eye-catching, Legend put a unique spin on his classic grey Alexander McQueen suit. His jacket had an interest asymmetrical design, which definitely had the Grammy winner standing out amongst the more traditional suits and tuxes.
Before the show began, Legend showed off his outfit on Instagram. "Grammy fit," he captioned the glamour shot. Later in the evening, Legend took him the Grammy for Best Rap/Sung Performance For "Higher" alongside DJ Khaled and the late Nipsey Hussle. The last thing the EGOT winner was concerned about was an internet troll critiquing his look for the big night. Teigen, however, decided to clap back when she caught wind of the online diss.
At some point during the Grammys, Twitter user Anna Mitchell tweeted at Teigen to "ask why she let John walk out the house looking like a fool like that." Teigen promptly replied, telling the troll to "tell your boyfriend to pull up his track pants," which...LOL. Mitchel was thrilled to receive a sassy response from the Queen of Clap Backs and enthusiastically replied "OH MY GOD CHRISSY I F****G LOVE YOU HOLY S**T OH MY GOD HOLY S**T OH MY GOD."
Later on, Mitchell added another reply with a message from the boyfriend who initially called Legend a fool for wearing an asymmetrical suit jacket. "The funny thing is, he’s literally wearing track pants right now he said the correct turn would be tie them up," she wrote to Teigen, though Teigen has yet to reply to the follow up tweet.
Legend may have won another Grammy on Sunday, but Teigen proved yet again she's got the best comebacks on Twitter.
